Position Summary:
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager as we continue to evolve the People & Culture function, this is a fast-paced role which will suit a driven & resourceful individual. Given the customer-facing nature of this role, exceptional written & verbal communication skills, attention to detail & organisation skills are essential to enhance the reputation of our team as a capable business partner. Working as part of a national team with your peers based in NSW, you be conscientious & able to manage your own workload. Previous exposure to Talent Acquisition, ideally in the construction industry, will be beneficial.
TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Talent Acquisition (40%)
? Support the execution of Prime Build’s Talent Acquisition Strategy by preparing job ads, scheduling interviews, managing Careers Inbox & candidate enquiries? Prepare employee contracts &; independent contractor agreements? Assist to build future talent pools for business-critical roles? Support diversity of hire by ensuring processes & content (e.g., ads, documents, website, socials) is non-discriminatory? Maintain data integrity in Applicant Tracking System (Lever) (e.g., candidate profiles, talent warehouses, archives)? Screen candidates (e.g., shortlisting CV’s, background checks) as directed by TA/Brand Specialist? Build relationships with current & potential talent, including attending industry & university events
2. Training Coord (40%)
? Coordinate role-specific onboarding & training, pre-qualifications & client inductions toensure a compliant & safe team (e.g., First Aid, Forklift, White Card)? Manage company pre-qualifications to conduct works for various clients? Maintain Prime Build’s Training & Competency Matrix, curriculum content & associated records? Ensure staff complete mandatory training within the prescribed timeframes, including:
Booking rooms / virtual sessions
Managing RSVP’s
Managing the training attendance register
Preparing & disseminating material as directed
? Schedule staff attendance at external training in line with Training & Development Policy? Help develop & improve training content, assessment & delivery as directed (e.g., converting F2F training to video to boost accessibility to site-based staff, developingassessment tools to test for learning)? Gather feedback from participants to improve our in-house training experiences
3. P&C Admin (20%)
? Conduct Police checks / Working with Children Checks as directed? Coordinate Rewards & Recognition programs, such as: the Nailed It Program; Staff Awards;5- & 10- Year Anniversaries.? Review/update employment records, P&C documents, policies & procedures in line with changes to legislation/Awards/regulations (e.g., contract templates, working rights, tickets/licenses, onboarding documentation)? Assisting with general P&C tasks such as: policy & template updates; content for P&C presentations & training, document control, Purchase Orders; coding of invoices? Enter data & maintain HR records; databases in a timely & accurate manner (e.g., BambooHR, CultureAmp, HR Dash, Lever ATS)? Support PC team with wellbeing & community initiatives (e.g., EAP Seminars; Days of People & Culture – Job descriptions
